My name is Ben.

I'm a language learner and language lover! I've been interested in languages for a long time. And it's become by full time job since 2019.

I've been an English teacher, an accent coach and currently, work for Refold. Every day, I work on helping language learners all around the world learn languages and have fun doing it.

I speak Spanish fluently (video from 2023) and am actively learning Czech. I've also studied German and have a B2 certificate. But I don't use it currently. I've spend hundreds of hours learning about and thinking about the best methods for language learning.

My native language is English. I am from the United States. Specifically from Portland, Oregon.

In that region of the West Coast, we speak a fairly general variety of American English, but there are a few specific features that make the accent unique (for me, eyes and ice sound quite different).

I've studied acting and voice, which is why I generally speak clearer than the average English speaker. I hope that that helps you to learn!
